AIBD was founded in 1950 and is a nationally recognized association with professional and associate members in 47 states, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia.  Held to higher standards of professionalism and ethics, members commit to using the latest design and construction practices, promoting awareness of the building design profession and all copyright laws that relate to plan reprints.    H.P.M.A. members provide plans to the magazine and web media.
